John Wells at the field lap made a flamethrower, maybe you can get him to "dry out your laptop". In the photo, the upper terminals are arranged (neg, pos, neg, pos). If we consider each 6V pair to be a 12V battery, then you're right that Tuff Guy is drawing his power from the end battery of the bank.

Tffn,
You'll increase effeciency and extend battery life if you use opposite terminals from opposite ends of the banks of batteries. This doesn't take any extra cable. All you'd have to do is reverse the one long cable at the bottom left in your photo. It does spread the leads for charging & load out a little bit, but increasing battery life should be worth that!Just Mehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09435243567550439056noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8051650307488354823.post-2872888770130807152010-12-05T15:28:50.511-06:002010-12-05T15:28:50.511-06:00River, note the two leads coming off of the two fr...River, note the two leads coming off of the two front cables. That was what I connected Frann's inverter up to since she only has a 300 watt inverter. If she ever gets a large inverter then she will need to wire it to one of the posts on the 12 volt side. Not likely she will ever need a larger inverter though. I still use a 300 watt and it runs the evap, laptop and lighting in here without a problem. Right now I'm running the desktop off of the 300 watt inverter.tffnguyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01830558433596399955noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8051650307488354823.post-24316644348254401472010-12-05T15:05:23.509-06:002010-12-05T15:05:23.509-06:00David I understand the use and wiring of 6V golf c...David I understand the use and wiring of 6V golf cart batterys for RV use. my question was where you came off the bank with your +&-.

Here is a diagram that might help

http://www.smartgauge.co.uk/batt_con.htmlRiverhaulerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04653794429544970851noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8051650307488354823.post-83505244864845234752010-12-05T10:56:36.188-06:002010-12-05T10:56:36.188-06:00Riverhauler, it should be obvious, but the way its...Riverhauler, it should be obvious, but the way its wired you have two 6 volt batteries wired in series to make one 12 volt battery. That is done twice and then the 2 12 volt banks are wired together. That is the same as my bank is done, but 4 times rather than to. Trust me it works. It could be wired differently to get the same thing, but this the way I do it.tffnguyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01830558433596399955noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8051650307488354823.post-40569002340245488802010-12-04T21:03:31.996-06:002010-12-04T21:03:31.996-06:00David

I was in at 7:00 am and out at 8:30 am. Not bad for a goverment run facility. (this was a follow up appoinment to some surgery I had last year) Im ok, the doctors just want to monitor how much "Shiner Bach" was in my bloodstream.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
