I have heard of them being given to charities. In any case you have to have the OK from a game warden before you are supposed to take them.tffnguyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01830558433596399955noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8051650307488354823.post-7687017401947874322011-10-24T07:51:25.908-05:002011-10-24T07:51:25.908-05:00One cool November morning we packed the kids into ...One cool November morning we packed the kids into the Van and headed into town to buy groceries. Pulling onto the blacktop, we spotted a freshly hit deer right in front of my mailbox. I figured I would have to run it up to the dump when I got back, but returned to find someone loading it into the back of a pickup.

Now if I could just get someone to do that with possums.Matt Mhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09246163445384375136noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8051650307488354823.post-71048723870940436012011-10-23T19:02:09.717-05:002011-10-23T19:02:09.717-05:00DD, those type fridges pull MAJOR power running of...DD, those type fridges pull MAJOR power running off of electricity mainly because its resistive heat. I have two of them here and the one in thos trailer just quit working and the one outside in the fridge hut works fine in the fall, winter and spring, but is basically worthless in the summer. I don't want anymore propane combo fridges. I want the real thing.tffnguyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01830558433596399955noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8051650307488354823.post-17660177422656724562011-10-23T17:41:28.152-05:002011-10-23T17:41:28.152-05:00What about RV refrigerators, they run on either el...What about RV refrigerators, they run on either electric or propane, which ever is available. The one in my RV works very well in either mode.Dizzy-Dickhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14150939928800538404noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8051650307488354823.post-52445869466199649682011-10-23T16:55:50.158-05:002011-10-23T16:55:50.158-05:00Lance, the problem with that is I'd also want ...Lance, the problem with that is I'd also want a freezer and if the freezer were turned in to a fridge that would do away with having a freezer. Also I talked to JW a while back and he said the way he was trying to do that didn't work so he was just plugging it in and unplugging it when needed to keep it from freezing. On the other hand if I got a medium sized chest freezer and kept gallon jugs of water in it to freeze them I could use an ice chest as a fridge, but I'd rather not do that.

I did some checking on the web and found a formula to see if the batteries would handle the fridge and they should, but I still have the problem of the over priced fridge. I guess I'll be looking for something a good bit cheaper that pulls about the same watts.tffnguyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01830558433596399955noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8051650307488354823.post-44889491198103760172011-10-23T16:45:39.295-05:002011-10-23T16:45:39.295-05:00Think you should look into a freezer turned into f...Think you should look into a freezer turned into fridge like JW has done. That is my plan once I get there and everything you need would be under $200 if I remember right.Lancehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02517178006083074987noreply@blogger.com
