The guy that did the deliveries before that was a total jerk. I could be in the back part of the house and hear him chunk packages down. At one time he chunked down a fairly heavy box that was fragile and it slid up against the storm door and sounded like a bomb going off when it hit it. Not only that but I had to go around from the back just to be able to get it because it was blocking the storm door from opening! Fortunately that time it was well packed and no damage, but that wasn't always the case.

MsB, There are bad drivers and good, but some where in between there are also bad handlers so... Some times even good drivers can't help because the packages were mangled before they ever got them.

I'm doing ok now (Especially now that the weather is real nice!) Finely! ;) 70.5 degrees right now and probably going to hit 80 before the day is over.tffnguyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01830558433596399955noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8051650307488354823.post-60139357944957398362011-02-12T23:50:44.142-06:002011-02-12T23:50:44.142-06:00BTW how are you feeling? She will give my mom time to get to the door and not just throw a sticker on the door. We do have to have a signature on everything, we had a $500 camera walk away one time, so I make sure someone is here. I didn't appreciate being told what I wanted to here and not what was going to happen.Dalehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15663829741122531500noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8051650307488354823.post-60227325173269475632011-02-10T21:09:48.915-06:002011-02-10T21:09:48.915-06:00Its Heerree! I have witnessed some of the drivers making deliveries though that just walk up to a door and chunk the packages. (Not set them down) None of that here fortunately though.tffnguyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01830558433596399955noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8051650307488354823.post-30701806384986811002011-02-10T20:59:56.938-06:002011-02-10T20:59:56.938-06:00Ouch, this post really hurts. There I meet the El Paso driver and we switch trailers and head back home. Last Monday night I made it as far as Abilene, TX, where I was weather-bound until Saturday. It was that bad. Don't know if this had anything to do with your situation. Once I had a delivery coming via UPS here at home. Same thing that happened to you happened to me. When I finally talked with someone who knew what happened, they told me the delivery driver could not find my house. Crazy! The package was shipped back to the sender and I never got it. That being said, 99.9% of the time, UPS delivers on-time and undamaged. On behalf of everyone at UPS, I am truly sorry for your terrible service.Allen Harehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00500590136731959920noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8051650307488354823.post-91232201194133354052011-02-10T17:24:28.827-06:002011-02-10T17:24:28.827-06:00I just got my DC Water pump I ordered from Harbor ...I just got my DC Water pump I ordered from Harbor Freight on Jan 27th delivered today USPS..Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8051650307488354823.post-50108079607306196612011-02-10T16:55:50.930-06:002011-02-10T16:55:50.930-06:00Unfortunately I have found that most on-line stuff...Unfortunately I have found that most on-line stuff gets shipped UPS. Dwight had an order that was supposed to arrive yesterday, 9 Feb. UPS said it was here in Dallas and out for delivery. We did have some sleet and snow here yesterday, so I figured that wasn't going to happen. So after a while, looking on-line and seeing we were going to get it on time, I called UPS and was told, our zip code was getting deliveries and we should have it by or just after 7pm. When I kept asking when is just after 7pm I was told I could call back later and they could give me any updated information. So I called again around 5pm and was told the same thing, it would get here. So, sometime after 7pm, I called again, getting a VERY foreign sounding voice, and was told the package would not, and was never on a truck today, that it would be delivered on Thursday. Well, my rant soon started and I told him how much I despised receiving any thing via UPS, and that I would rather use pony express. Then I asked where in India he was, only to be told The Philippines! Ugh! Then I hung up! Did I say I don't like UPS? Hope you get your package soon, we finally did today.Dalehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15663829741122531500noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8051650307488354823.post-16182170026409025112011-02-10T14:31:58.949-06:002011-02-10T14:31:58.949-06:00Abby, years ago when I was building computers I ha...Abby, years ago when I was building computers I had some of them totally destroyed by UPS. Haven't done just a lot of business with them since, but have had decent luck with what little I've received through them. I can understand weather related problems, but right now their tracking system leaves a LOT to be desired.tffnguyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01830558433596399955noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8051650307488354823.post-3628069907118776532011-02-10T14:28:26.428-06:002011-02-10T14:28:26.428-06:00That's got to be it Dave, and I bet the Mayans...That's got to be it Dave, and I bet the Mayans foresaw that UPS would fail to do that in 2012.
