My attempt to make it to my 10 acres in Terlingua Ranch and make a go of living on it. From the start it hasn't gone good at all, but I'm hopeful things will turn around!

Back to the Shelbys
Had to do something different with the falcon this year instead of just a burnout.
You believe that don't you?
And only in Terlingua! With all the high $$$$$ cars there I guess the one below got the most attention when it pulled up with chickens and junk in the back.
MsB, right you are. There weren't any chickens in the cage. Only roosters and the guy didn't want them so he was going to go dump them. (Abandon them on someone else's property that probably didn't want them either)
Ok after enlarging the photo I finally see the roosters even though I probably could not tell a chicken from a rooster to save my life.
I think it is terrible for him to dump them or dump anything for that matter in private property. Could he not leave them at a local vets office or the porch? Maybe someone else could want them.
Allen, they have that at the legion every year around the same time. I guess with it being so close to the Chili Cook Off you'll probably won't ever make it though.

ReplyDeleteBeautiful cars!!! I must be going blind cause I did not see any chickens on back of that truck.

MsB, right you are. There weren't any chickens in the cage. Only roosters and the guy didn't want them so he was going to go dump them. (Abandon them on someone else's property that probably didn't want them either)

ReplyDeleteSure I believe!! I knew the Falcon had it in it.. I remember the rides! Ha, ha..
ReplyDeleteTig, I boiled a rooster for 4 hours one time and it was still so tough you couldn't eat it.
ReplyDeleteWell it was hard to hide the winch lifting the front of the falcon in that picture. (Especially at 90 MPH.) ;)
Ok after enlarging the photo I finally see the roosters even though I probably could not tell a chicken from a rooster to save my life.
ReplyDeleteI think it is terrible for him to dump them or dump anything for that matter in private property. Could he not leave them at a local vets office or the porch? Maybe someone else could want them.
