Done Deal

I'm now officially the commander of American Legion Post 653 (Terlingua). Unfortunately it will take months to get the mess straightened out.

    Dani, I had to borrow the headgear because I don't have mine yet. ;) Will look the same though other than having Commander on it rather than Vice Commander.

    DD, Not at all sure congratulations are in order. We were thinking about having a celebration party, but after finding out how bad off the place was it will probably be a OH NO party. ;)

    yu no Obama type (promises no fulfill etc) -although i voted for him twice-, meaning now yu the commander, hope yu can and will "straigthen' fings up ...this blog does an important Job with yur Legion and people like me interested in what s going on arround there in Terligua,
