I believe it was GQ that named La Kiva to the list of '10 Bars You Must Visit Before You Die.' Glen's dad was part hippie and part visionary.

I new Glen Patrick Felts almost 15 years ago when i went the first time to Terlingua and Lajitas, he helped me with something very personal, what he did, i will remember all my life, as that has marked my family for ever since. He was a sincere, honest, great human being, a "soyado" in the vernacular Spanish terminology, close word to mean a VERY GOOD "hippie",with a great heart. .God Bless and peace for him (+)
