  1. I believe it was GQ that named La Kiva to the list of '10 Bars You Must Visit Before You Die.' Glen's dad was part hippie and part visionary.

  2. It is so sad to learn of someone passing but even more so when he was a young person I believe 50 years old and in these circumstances.

    You move out in the desert for peace and tranquility only to find death. Glad to hear the murderer was arrested.

  5. You are correct. Glen was Gill Felt's nephew.

    For those of you who don't know, La Kiva is a bar built in a whole in the ground in the Big Bend.

I new Glen Patrick Felts almost 15 years ago when i went the first time to Terlingua and Lajitas, he helped me with something very personal, what he did, i will remember all my life, as that has marked my family for ever since. He was a sincere, honest, great human being, a "soyado" in the vernacular Spanish terminology, close word to mean a VERY GOOD "hippie",with a great heart. .God Bless and peace for him (+)
