My attempt to make it to my 10 acres in Terlingua Ranch and make a go of living on it. From the start it hasn't gone good at all, but I'm hopeful things will turn around!
I like the idea of that end of the year party. Might as well be happy on the way out of here I suppose. :)
Rubye Jack, If the world survives the 21st I guess we'll have a lot of fun on the 30th. ;)
My van dwellers group is having a Dooms Day Party but it is in Tennessee a bit far for me to go and also I have "no van" :(I think it is a great idea to have an End of the World party in probably the only place in Texas that could survive it!Unfortunately I will probably be in Houston...the first city in Texas to be blown to pieces in case of nuclear war.
If the world doesn't end on the 21st I have to buy my son a car on the 22nd for his 16th birthday.
I stole your pic of the flier and posted it on my Facebook page... it better be warm that night cause the legion is gonna be packed.thanks!
Bkid, I think you better be planning on buying that car. Pat, I think you're right. Just the musicians will fill up the legion. Maybe Ron needs to put a couple of those BIG cabins there to handle the over flow.
MsB, I think you'll be safe.
In comparison to Y2K which was a more credible threat...I think so too.
MsB, sort of makes me wonder what the next biggie will be?
