My attempt to make it to my 10 acres in Terlingua Ranch and make a go of living on it. From the start it hasn't gone good at all, but I'm hopeful things will turn around!
I wouldn't mind wearing a "Terlingua or Bust" T-shirt someday. It might have a pocket on it, too. Already have a TFL one. No pocket on mine either. That's OK. I quit smoking. Couldn't afford it anymore!
I hate shirts without pockets. How can anyone manage without a few pockets somewhere. Thinking I must get me a pocketed carpenter's apron to carry all my important tools and STUFF. You look good.
Andy, pockets are good for a lot of other things (like receipts, pens and any number of other things.) I just don't like shirts without pockets. They don't feel right. Oh well... It was a freebie. ;) I'd never buy a shirt without at least one though.
czardastx, would be if it had a pocket.
Sissy, I agree (all except for me looking good. ;)
Laughing. You know, David, my husband Leddie is the same way about pockets on T-shirts. He needs a place to carry his snuff! pocket or no, you look great in one of the Field Lab shirts!
wilkinson4success, Yes I remember you (Rebecca and Leddie) which is good because I can't remember my own name a lot of times.
"I" (Nick), what could you possibly know. You're just Dungeon dwellers. ;) If I get John to print up some T-Shirts saying "I survived the Dungeon X amount of nights" then you and Mariah would have a few stars printed on the shirts as well.
Dizzy-Dick, I think it must be because of the multimillion dollar campaign I'm running to promote the dungeon. The advertising executives made me wear makeup and then had the graphics department touch up the photo to make me look good.
Benita??? Must be an inside thing, lol. I think we would have a IStD shirt or two our selves, NJ would have more stars on hers than us tho. I think the new digs are good for you, I agree with the others, your looking good!
I probably haven't been getting as much sun, but lately its been because of the clouds. I / we can hang out under the front part of the 5th wheel when the sun is directly over head so that means a fairly cool place from about 12:30 PM to about 3:30 PM when there used to be no usable shade.
The mosquitoes are really getting BIG and BAD right now. Just sprayed this place down to get rid of some, but it doesn't seem to help. I guess we'll have weeks of that after the rain stops. Right now I'm wondering if it IS ever going to stop.
Thanks for your kindness, you are such a gentleman for not just coming out and telling me you look better because I am ugly. Hey, I have worked a lot years on this ugly thing and I think I have achieved it. Feels good, makes my life easier when I don't have worry about my looks. . .
