My neighbor caught this picture of a flock of birds down by his house a while back. They came for a visit to my place after that, but before I could get the camera out to take my own picture they were gone. Don't have a clue what type they are, but there was a bunch of them.

From where I'm stand'n David, they look like brown headed cow birds. The fly in flocks, land, eat up all the corn and stuff, and then they gone. All the while the quail and dove are stand'n back say'n "they eat'n up all our corn".
ReplyDeleteWell BB, I fooled them cause I ain't got no corn. Matter of fact they came to the wrong part of the country for corn. (Unless they're looking for the deer feeders, but I ain't got none of them either)
ReplyDeleteI got flocked the other day too!
ReplyDeletelol
ReplyDeleteGlad to hear we weren't the only ones to get flocked. ;) That was the most birds I've seen at one time since I've been down south.
ReplyDeleteYou guys watched 'The Birds' lately?
ReplyDeleteJudy, we're probably a little better armed than the folks in that show so the birds might be in trouble if they start any crap. ;)
ReplyDeleteDon't let 'em get the upper hand...
ReplyDeleteFlock me, babee!
ReplyDeleteAllen, I don't think there's enough around for them to eat so no need for them to hang around.
ReplyDeleteDenese, you and Frann are loosing it. ;)
Dont know what kind of birds they are but I sure enjoyed the comments on this thread :D
ReplyDeleteNutty Birds MsB, they're visiting all the nuts down here. ;)
ReplyDeleteFLOCKING BIRDS ! :@)
ReplyDeleteWe may have had to much sun!
ReplyDeleteQuick! Someone send Frann and Denese a few more shade tarps!
